Habiscapes has worked with several communities in the Treasure Valley (most notably Avimor and Hidden Springs) to develop open space management plans that help preserve or restore the natural plant communities that once thrived there. After a community has been developed the disturbed areas tend to become weed infested and run down. Here we can help you assess the current status and outline a plan to reduce and eliminate noxious weeds as well as a succession plan that allows for the re-introduction of both native and drought tolerant plantings all irrigated by drip systems from local water sources. These plans also incorporate fire wise designs to assist the community to prevent catastrophic wildfires within their area.
Habiscapes also works with the private homeowner on acreage that needs to be managed and/or restored with the same attributes in mind as mentioned above.
